Ten CWA members from Locals 1101, 1103, 1109, 1122, 1123, 1124, and
1126 were hosted in Syracuse, NY last week at the Local 1123 office for a two-day training on organizing in the telecom world. With over a billion dollars in State and Federal funding being allocated to New York for broadband buildout, CWA is working to ensure that the money goes to highroad, union companies - and CWAers are taking this opportunity to help organize non-union telecom workers.
