Ames residents near the 1200 block of Ridgewood Avenue have had a summer filled with complications when it comes to the use of Internet and telephone services.Those residents, who receive services from CenturyLink, have experienced at least six outages since June, including three times in the last few weeks, due to underground cables being damaged by construction crews hired by the city to do road work and other repairs in the area.
