On July 7, 2020, the Competition Bureau released its annual plan, which sets out the Bureau's priorities and initiatives for the year ahead. This year's plan, titled "Protecting competition in uncertain times", demonstrates a focus on proactive detection, the telecom- munications and health sectors, the digital economy and managing the implications of COVID-19.
