I'm going to break with tradition here, and publish an appeal on behalf of a good guy who needs help with an open-source project.
He's not asking for money: what he needs is expertise.
Eric Chadbourne has started the Mneme Projectto build an open-source constituent-management database for use by non-profits and others in the field of social welfare. He's a good guy, and dedicated as hell, but he can't do it alone.
If you have skills in PHP, Postgres, Linux, or related areas of project management, please go to the URL and offer your help. It's a chance to be part of something important and long-lasting, and I hope you'll do it.
Thanks for reading this. We now return you to telecom.
