Do u know if it is possible to configure a VIP address that doesn't belong to a "if" on the alteon ?
For example : VIP on the subnet : 192.168.1.0/24 Real IP addresses on the subnet 192.168.2.0/24 IPs addresses of the Alteon : - 192.168.2.1 (interface on real Server Side) - 172.20.2.1 (interface on the WAN Side)
Internet | | (eth0 : 81.x.x.x) WAN RTR (eth1 : 172.20.2.2) | | (if 1 : 172.20.2.1) ALTEON ------------------> VIP Subnet (192.168.1.0/24) (if 2 : 192.168.2.1) | | (eth0 : 192.168.2.2) REAL_SERVER1
