TV Speaker for Center Front Surround

I'm sure your local car audio store can set you up. You run speaker

wire from the center speaker terminals of the receiver to this device,

then run L/R plugs from it to your TV. Some adjusting will be required

but it should work. How it sounds is another story altogether.

Would you clarify this? Wire both inputs of the unit together? Are the inputs the common and signal speaker outputs from the receiver? The volume control is in series with the converter's output or input?

There are such things as speaker to line level adapters. Russound makes one but I can't recall the part number. Using one you could take the speaker outs from the amp and feed them into the TV. I'd probably go with an actual center speaker instead of monkeying around with trying to use what are usually crappy speakers in a TV.
