I'm coming back with a very old Subject initiated by Dave Houston a few years ago !
I would like to change a Pronto TSO 7000 SAW Resonator, but as you probably know, the Resonator is SMD and very difficult to change. I read on remote central that some persons managed to put another SAW with wire connection. Does someone have some pictures of such a modification ?
Otherwise, is there a way to change the whole RF-PCB ? or perhaps make the same modification that Dave Houston made on his TSU 1000 ....
Every information is welcomed ! Possible Part, schema, ....
