Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius vetoed a bill yesterday that would allow construction of two coal-fired power plants in the southwest part of the state . . . "It sends a message . . . Kansas is sort of ground zero right now for the global warming debate."
Kansas Governor Vetoes Bill to Allow Coal-Fired Plants
They'll use coal from BC (Canada). It's low in mercury, high in calcium, fluoride, phosphates and iron. People in the southwestern Kansas will benefit with stronger bones, brighter teeth, cleaner clothes, and more energy. The climate will gradually turn more "tropical", and wheat crops will be replaced with pineapple and bananas. The additional fibre will wind up "recycled" in fertilizer (which will really put Kansas on the map). :-)
Isn't Kansas the state that denied a single father custody because he wore a beard ?:-)
