Watchguard Firewall NAT

Mar 16, 2005 1 Replies

I have configured a Watchguard Firebox X as a NAT between 2 networks. The configuration is up and running, however the route will not work. I flush the ARP cache, which then enables the packets to go on the correct routes. After a few minutes, they stop again and I need to reflush the cache. Let me know if you need any additional information.

Thanks

Need more info:

1) External Interface: IP Range Assigned 2) Trusted Interface: IP Range Assigned 3) Optional Interface: IP Range Assigned 4) What rules do you have mapping Ext to Trusted and other directions

I have a bunch of the Firebox II/III installed, post back with the details and I'll see if I can help.

It sounds like you've not properly configured the unit and it's auto-blocking your networks from each other.
