trend micro and zonealarm

Feb 10, 2005 1 Replies

Hi-

I've been using the combination of McAffee AV and ZoneAlarm firewall for a while now, but am considering a switch to the Trend Micro suite of AV/anti-spyware, etc. I'm trying to decide whether to keep ZoneAlarm or go with the Trend Micro firewall - does anyone have suggestions one way or the other? I have a few rules for allowing incoming rdp traffic from specific outside IP's, etc. but nothing too fancy or complex beyond that.

Thanks!

Yeah, do it. TM is far better than McAffee and the rule sets on the TM product (aka PC-Cillin) can be just as granular. I have converted many die hard fans from Norton and McAffee both to TM and they don't regret it, so if you're wise, you'll do it.
