IP Chains/Tables help

Aug 20, 2006 0 Replies

I have a Cyberguard SG300 Router which is running IPChains/tables which Im not familar with. I need to add and/or remove a default route but I have no idea how. I know how to view all the used commands but i dont know which one is giving me this problem.

The problem im having is that I cant get any broadcast packets from a pptp/vpn interface connection over to my LAN.

According to Cyber guard broadcast packets are denied between these interfaces by default BUT it also says in the same page that it can be customized using packet filtering. (link below)

Soo... im guessing I need to add a rule to allow this type of traffic/route

or perhaps remove/modify the default entry which is stopping the traffic/route.

Could any IPChains guru's out there give me a hand : )

TIA
