How does one orient PM fiber to the angle in an FC/APC connector? The problem is one can not easily see the fiber axis when bonding to orient it inside the ferrule (assuming you could even fix the fiber orientation as the epoxy sets. Do you have to bond the fiber in a PC connector with orientable key and then tediously polish in the 8 deg angle? Is there some other trick? Am I missing something obvious?
