We have 3 servers connected to dofferent siwtch and need to start monitoring for intrusion detection. We need to pass all traffic from these 3 portts on different switches to one oprt so the IDS can monitor it.

Switches are 3500's

How do I copy traffic from these 3 ports to one port on one of the switches.

If necessary we can put all 3 WEB servers into the same switch.

If it is Catalyst 3500XL switch. All interfaces have to be in same switch. interface IDS (interface) port monitor web1 (interface) port monitor web2 (interface) port monitor web3 (interface)
