Gathering network stats over time

Gathering network stats over time open original image

Hi,

I need to pull off statistics for network activity on two cisco routers over a 24 hours period with the intention of producing a QoS policy.

Is there a way to output appropriate netflow and/or nbar statistics via syslog?

I need source and destination ports and addresses, number and av. size of packets - maybe some queuing stats. (These are not my routers, so I don't know they are configured)

Any ideas or RTFM links much appreciated

Matt

First 2 are free (GNU), I'm not sure for PRTG...

But all of these tools are using SNMP to extract stats from devices. You need to know SNMP community that is set up on these routers you want to monitor.
