DHCP problems in 12.3.14T on 1721

I have a Cisco 1721 with 32MB flash and 96MB RAM running IOS 12.3.14T1 IP/ADSL/FW/IDS PLUS IPSEC 3DES with VPN module and a WIC-1ENET.

Interface Ethernet0 is configured as follows:

interface Ethernet0 ip address dhcp ip access-group ACL_Ethernet0_IN in ip access-group ACL_Ethernet0_OUT out no ip redirects no ip unreachables no ip proxy-arp ip nbar protocol-discovery ip nat outside ip inspect FW_Ethernet0_IN in ip inspect FW_Ethernet0_OUT out ip ips IPS_Ethernet0_IN in ip virtual-reassembly ip route-cache same-interface ip route-cache policy ip route-cache flow full-duplex no cdp enable crypto map CMP_CVPN end

I'm unable to get an IP address assigned to this interface using DHCP. A 'debug dhcp det' gives the following output:

000229: Apr 15 09:19:03.754 GMT+1: DHCP: SDiscover: sending 289 byte length DHCP packet 000230: Apr 15 09:19:03.754 GMT+1: DHCP: SDiscover 289 bytes 000231: Apr 15 09:19:03.758 GMT+1: B'cast on Ethernet0 interface from 0.0.0.0 000232: Apr 15 09:19:03.782 GMT+1: DHCP: Received a BOOTREP pkt 000233: Apr 15 09:19:03.782 GMT+1: DHCP: Scan: Message type: DHCP Offer 000234: Apr 15 09:19:03.782 GMT+1: DHCP: Scan: Server ID Option: 82.161.60.1 = 52A13C01 000235: Apr 15 09:19:03.782 GMT+1: DHCP: Scan: Lease Time: 3600 000236: Apr 15 09:19:03.782 GMT+1: DHCP: Scan: bad FQDN option len 3 000237: Apr 15 09:19:03.782 GMT+1: DHCP: Error in pkt. punting 000238: Apr 15 09:19:07.774 GMT+1: DHCP: QScan: Timed out Selecting state %Unknown DHCP problem.. No allocation possible 000239: Apr 15 09:19:16.634 GMT+1: DHCP: Waiting for 55 seconds on interface Ethernet0

The problem seems to be in lines 000236 and 000237. How can I resolve this? Is this a known bug?
