Desktop switch with 802.1x and NAC.

Hi guys,

as extension of the network managed by Cisco switches I wonder which products are available for desktop end-user and that permit to use standars as 802.1x and NAC.

That because in some rooms there are not as many wallsockets as we need and would be better to have such devices instead of running cables. Unfortunately the wireless solution it is not allowed.

Thanks in advance. Alex.

The Cisco 2940 is a nice small footprint that support 802.1x. It is a full featured Cisco IOS switch and it runs silent.
