Hi there,

I'm trying to bridge a Cisco SOHO 96 but having some dificulties.

I need the router to give the wan address to the firewall. Allready configure the firewall with DHCP for the wan port, NAT and the fw can also be responsable for the router dial-in. So I really the router to act as a simple modem.

Allready went to the hyperterminal but it seems my cisco skills aren't enough.... yet!! :)

Would appreciate some help.

Best regards, zogerdr

see Cisco doc:

in bridging mode the SOHO96 should not make a WAN DHCP request but should bridge the firewall's DHCP WAN request towards your ISP.
