BGP SOO

Hi All, Can some one point me to a document for this? I want to understand how does BGP SOO works? Based on what are the routes from a PE not entered in 1 remote PE and entered in another remote PE.

The SoO attribute is used to identify the specific site from which the PE learns the route and is used in the identification and prevention of routing loops. The SoO extended community is a BGP extended community attribute used to identify routes that have originated from a site so that the re-advertisement of that prefix back to the source site can be prevented, thus preventing routing loops. The SoO extended community uniquely identifies the site from which a PE router has learned a route. SoO enables filtering of traffic based on the site from which it was originated. SoO filtering manages MPLS VPN traffic and prevents routing loops from occurring in complex and mixed network topologies in which the customer sites might possess connectivity across the MPLS VPN backbone as well as possess backdoor links between sites. Site of Origin (SoO) is one of the attributes a PE router assigns to a prefix prior to redistributing any VPNv4 prefixes. SoO in BGP is configured at neighbor level and is used to manage MPLS VPN traffic and to prevent transient routing loops from occurring in complex network topologies. SoO uniquely identifies the site from which the PE router learned the prefix. All prefixes learned from a particular site must be assigned the same site of origin attribute, even if the site is multiply connected to a single PE, or is connected to multiple PEs.
