backup configdata with version-history

Hi,

our ciscoworks is old, out of support, out of sale, out of all. A new ciscoworks costs to mutch ;-)

Whe search for an alternative solution that can make an backup from config-date from more then 80 machines automatic, with an version history. Whe won't longer work with an solaris, so whe search for an linux solution.

Have you any hints for me?

thx. G.Thuemmler

Hello Gerd,

We use homemade scripts to get the config from our equipment. And then store everything in CVS. CVS is pretty good at showing differences between versions.
