We have to change public address for ASA failover confgiuration per ISP. Anyone knows how to change public IP address fast with least downtime for configuration? there are lots of static NAT entries and access list?
BTW, why copy startup-config http:\\\\servername\\asa.cfg command doesn't work? syntax error _http, however, it accepts copy http:\\\\servername\\asa.cfg startup-config. What is format of asa.cfg? just text copy of configuration? If this is true, I may config my asa with new public address with text editor, then as it as asa.cfg, finally use copy http:\\\\servername\\asa.cfg startup command, then reload the active asa. Will this procedure work in production environment?
