Hi!
i have a question. I want to sumilate a WAN with ONE Cisco 2503 and both ser. interfaces by connecting a crossover DTE/DCE cable. Does it work, or is it a problem because both ser. interfaces of the same router are used ?

That won't work
All interfaces on a router have to be in different subnets. It's not possible to put two interfaces in the same subnet. You can better use a simulation app such as Boson Netsim of Packet Tracer.
