I need to install 12 Cat5E into modular furniture. Would installating an additional patch cable cause significant problems? Does this violate the applicable cabling standards? (see below)
Floor Box RJ45---Patch1---Modular Furn.OutletRJ45--Patch2-----PC
Would bringing the cable through the floor box directly to the modular furniture outlets be a better idea? This would only require one patch cable on the station end.
Any sugggestions would be appreciated.
