Have a Surfboard 5120 on Charter. Had a lightning strike across the road which burnt out cards on the Charter pedestal. TV back but my modem now has no light activity on the PC/Activity light. So far I replaced one of the network cards on one of our computers. I have a DSL backup going right now. My question is do you think the lightning strike may have killed my Surfboard? Ted

Well,
- ask neighbor if you can connect modem to their cable to test,
- borrow their modem for your cable test,
- drive to Charter office, get rental modem, have them enter into system, hook it up and if no sync, have them come out and fix their hardware.
