What's this all about:
If not this new service will be a bust. Anyone have this at this X. What are your experiences with it. I have been eyeing the TiVo's for a hwile but they only port to VHS. More expensive recorders port to DVD
port to VHS.
I have Charter DVR, and like any relatively new technology, it has a few warts, and the operation needs a bit of reworking at the programming level, but it revolutionized my TV watching. I have felt no need to save anything to VCR/DVD. If I did, then it IS possible, but with only VCR quality at this time. The whole thing seems to be at a very early stage of sophistication. Still, I wouldn't even consider going back.
