Battery backup of furnace

Is there any information about using a battery to AC inverter to power a GFA furnace ??

I have googled for inverters and found modified and pure sine wave devices.

My furnace has 3/4 hp blower motor with an electronic igniter.

Is this a good or bad idea ??
