Next stop Cisco!

Hello Everyone,

Well the time has come to study for the CCNA, I just changed jobs and I am a one person IT Dept., at a small company, we have twenty users in a Windows

2000 domain running XP on the front end, and a Cisco 2600 router and PIX firewall.

The router's power supply died the other day, I called Cisco and they delivered a new one in three hours, that was pretty good, I opened them and swap power supplies, I have fixed desktops, notebooks and servers in the past but never opened a router, so that was sort of exciting to do.

Routing is fairly new to me, and I am really looking forward to learning a lot more, my goal is to take and pass the exam no later than August, I am using the Lammle's and Odom's books, hopefully that's enough.

Well I am sure I'll be posting some questions soon.

Thanks in advance,
