ADSL Problems

I have recently subscribed for ADSL, but I can't get it working properly.

Email works OK, some internet apps work OK, but I can only browse my ISP's home site, not any other site. However, I can ping other sites.

This happens with 3 different computers. My notebook and my router / modem work OK at at friends place.

It must be a problem with the ISP. Any suggestions what it may be? DNS problem?

So you have good IP connectivity. For some reason, you ISP is not fwd'ing your port 80 outbound. Maybe they want you to use their proxy :(

So they seem good. Make sure you have no proxy configured unless your ISP requires it.

If it were DNS, `ping

formatting link
` would fail.
