My grandad has a PC loaded with Windows ME, this is currently on a wired connection (via USB) He's recently bought a laptop with Vista and wants this to be connected wirelessly to his modem. I'm basically looking for a router than can handle both wired (via usb) and wireless connections, that also supports ME and Vista. Is this possible? Do I need a specific type of router? Any help would be really appreciated, thanks in advance.

Yes, You will need to purchase a Wireless Router. You then can connect through a wired connection as well as connect wireless. Look at the Linksys brand. Norm
