See below- much more than DirectTalk was available.

Actually, the COW's were in place within 12 hours of the storm moving out- full Nextel communication was available.

You might try JUST ONCE to research and know what you're trying to talk about before you proceed.

Likewise other carriers. Hence no advantage for Nextel, and of no value during the critical hours of the storm, unlike satellite.
