Linksys WUSB54Gv2 causing system crashes

Hi internet. I was having fatal system errors with Windows. I finally tracked down my problem and found out it was my USB Linksys WUSB54Gv2 wireless receiver. The error I kept getting was:

-----------------

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Technical Information

Stop:0x000000D1

I couldn't fix this problem and simply had to remove the USB device. This is just an FYI to anyone searching around online for what's causing these crashes. Please feel free to add information about any fixes!

When I find this problem, it's usually because of the IRQ line for the USB being shared with the video chip. The fix required either an updated driver or juggling IRQ's in the CMOS setup.

Thanks for the replies -- I'll test them out this weekend and see if I can get it back up and running. Thanks again!
