In this series, we'll look at some points discussed by Frontier Communications at the UBS Global Media and Communications Conference. The telecom company's executive vice president and chief financial officer, John M. Jureller, participated in this event on December 7,

2015. During the event, Jureller highlighted the opportunities for the telecom company within the significantly penetrated wireline assets in the Verizon transaction. Note that these assets of Verizon are in the states of California, Florida, and Texas. According to both Frontier and Verizon, this ~$10.5 billion deal is expected to be completed in 1Q16.
