German cable network operator Vodafone will install new cable TV sockets without a radio port.Very old sockets only have 2 Belling-Lee ports (one male and one female) for TV and radio. Sockets in some new installations will get this type of socket. Only a male Belling-Lee port and an F-port for the cable modem is available.
The VHF-FM radio service (analog radio 87.5-108 MHz) is already switched off in most cable circuits and will be used for data transmissions.
