Update: Issue with Verizon Wireless calls to 911 has been resolved [telecom]

BAKERSFIELD, Calf. (KBAK/KBFX) - Verizon customers in Kern County can now dial 911 for emergency services.

Thursday evening, the Kern County Sheriff's Office announced a 911 outage for all Verizon Wireless customers in Kern, Inyo and Mono counties.
