We are bringing in a SIP trunk, handing off a PRI circuit via a Cisco IAD. We now want to hand a VOIP phone off our Avaya IP Office 500 via the public Internet. I am told that we will have problems converting from IP to PRI and back to IP again. I am aware of issues I may encounter running on the public Internet but I am more concerned about the conversion question.
Care to share any thoughts or suggestions?
