Somehow this "logic" escapes me. Verizon is *increasing* rates for

If I was going to raise costs in the face of declining numbers of customers, it would only be to recoup some of my lost revenue, not to entice new customers to sign up. I wonder if that's their reasoning.

Is it any wonder that traditional phone companies are worried for > their very existance? I guess it makes as much sense as increasing > the cost of coin phones to "compete" with cellphones.
