Depends what the converter will cost. Anyone know the price?
Currently, the cheapest one I know of is at WalMart for $199. One of the problems with these devices is licensing, Zenith has patents on the 8VSB modulation schemeso anybody that wants to build a set top box has to pay $$ to Zenith for every box they build.
