IMHO there is a disconnect here. Reverend Hutcherson is a member of an ethnic group that has endured far, far too much hate and discrimintation. He's old enough that he may even, unfortunately, have been the target of such hate himself (though hopefully, he didn't have to deal with it directly). Yet he's engaging in discrimination against another group ...
