Tuesday night, I got buried -- literally -- in PayPal spoofs. 15 of them in a thirty minute period ... I am accustomed to receiving spam and scam at all hours of the day and night, but fifteen various ones dealing with PayPal over thirty minutes is some kind of a new record for me. All have been forwarded to snipped-for-privacy@paypal.com of course ...
In addition, there were a few (but not fifteen!) spoofs on e-Bay sent to me in the same time period, and a couple of Bank of America things. Ah, the net! What a cesspool it has become, but I said that once already, maybe ten years ago.
