calculating throughput and maximizing
Hi, I have a network setup with a netgear router with a built-in switch. The PC attached to the switch is operating at 100Mb/s Full Duplex. All other PC's are connected via a hub to this switch. They are operating at 10Mb Half duplex. I try to copy files between workstations via mapping the drive etc and its really slow. Can someone please help me in trying to understand why its slow. How to get the actual speed? I have asked around and have been told that the network will never operate at 10Mb but will operate at a lot less. Why is that? Could someone please point me to some resources where I can read up on why a
