Phone a distraction, Phila area drivers admit [telecom]

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that 3/4 of drivers on Phila area roads use a mobile device while driving. Now, researchers are wondering how they can make it less distracting and make people think twice about picking up the phone.

Side note: In the past, the Bell System proudly advertised its highway pay phones. Now they're almost all gone.
