Verizon experiences issues in Beatrice, Nebraska area [telecom]

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN)- Verizon experienced a disruption in service for customers near Beatrice Monday night.

The disruption was caused when a third-party's fiber-optic network was cut.

Impacted customers were encouraged to enable Wi-Fi calling to make and retrieve calls during the blackout at no additional charge.
