Netflow easy, MLS not

I've configured Netflow and Netflow export on my routers before, including native-IOS 4506 switches and it works well. However, I'm baffled by the options and commands available on my native-IOS 6509 switch. I read a little at CCO, but I'm not quite sure I "grasp" the concept of how the MLS commands relate to Netflow.

Can someone post a portion of a good "normal" config that is relevant to adding NetFlow 5 export properly to an IOS 6509 switch?
