Verizon's Slumping Video-Subscriber Numbers: Here's What A Post-TV Provider Looks Like [telecom]

Verizon lost another stadium's worth of Fios TV VZ -1.1% subscribers in its first quarter, which made it much like the four quarters before it--make that, the four years before it.

With 82,000 video subscribers leaving in Q1 of 2021, per Wednesday's earnings release, Verizon's fiber-optic service is now down to 3.772 million TV subscribers--even while its broadband customer base grew to

6.3 million in this quarter.
