Double digits: Iowa's 515, 319 area codes slated for switch to 10-digit dialing for local calls [telecom]

Let's suppose you want to dial 515 Brewing in Clive.

If you live in the Des Moines metro, you just dial the seven-digit number.

But soon, you'll have to dial 515 to reach 515.

That's because 10-digit dialing is coming to Iowa.
