PA: CenturyLink outage affecting 911 system [telecom]

Adams County's 911 system could not take calls from cell phones and some landlines as of Wednesday evening, according to Adams County Emergency Services Director Warren Bladen.

The outage began around 3 p.m. on Wednesday and was due to an unknown problem with CenturyLink, he said. It was affecting a seven-county area, said Bladen.
