DIY Home Video Surveillance
Hi everyone,
I want to build a home video surveillance system that has the following requirements:
- 2 video cameras - color during the day and infrared at night for night time surveillance
- Preferably wireless if i can get it working as good as "wired"
- I want to use my home PC as a way to record the live video feeds and archive them to DVD (I have a powerful P4 with almost a terabyte of HD space)
Now my question is, how do I set this up? What wireless cams do you recommend? What hardware do i need on my PC? What software do I need on my PC?
