Update: Verizon wireless service restored
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Verizon Wireless has said all customers have been restored [to] service.
Verizon Wireless spokesperson Kate Jay released the following statement in regards to the outage:
Verizon Wireless experienced interruption in service for some customers in and around Augusta on Wednesday due to a connectivity issue. Engineers were able to identify and resolve the issue and service was restored by approximately 1:00 AM EST Thursday morning.
