I am looking for a consultant who can design Ciena networks, particularly long haul MW1600, MW4000, and MW9600. I need someone who is intimately familiar with the transmitter and receiver part numbers and usage. The ideal person would do some clever engineering to re-use parts across the different product families for expanding existing older networks.
You would think with the armies of people Ciena has laid off that finding this individual would be straightforward, but after now talking to at least four senior ex-Ciena technical employees, apparently the skill set I am in need of is specialized enough that it is not common.
