Interestingly, I read the exact same words on another website earlier today. However, the other guy also explained WHY you set the baudrate to 1200.

Hi Richard, Thank you for your post. Could you please supply me with a link to the site you are talking about. And by the way, setting the baudrate to 1200 is to simulate the break signal electrically. And all of this info is mentioned in Cisco's documentation, I am not making it up..!!
