How-to Print w/inter-vlan routing?

I have a 3Com 4900 SM Layer3 swtich and want to do inter-vlan routing, how is this done? Specifically I only want to activate this to have anyone from either vlan1 or vlan2 to have access to a printer through routing. I am not very experienced but is this done with access control lists? I have no experience in this. Can someone guide me?

I have 2 ip domains. Vlan1 10.10.x.x subnet mask 255.255.248.0 (local network, very high security) Vlan2 192.168.x.x subnet mask 255.255.255.128 (internet network

Printer 10.10.5.5 subnet mask 255.255.248.0

Thanks in advance for any help. Rich D J

I'd put the printer on a 3rd vlan and create anothe subnet then route each of the others two it but not each other. How this is done in the

3Com switch, you will have to read the manual.
